I was inspired to create Coach Finder Online for several reasons. Firstly, being a personal coach myself, I noticed when I met people they were surprised that I had clients all over the globe through online coaching work. It told me their thinking was old school. If someone needed a coach they would look for a life coach in their area. The truth is, their best coach might be 2000 or 10,000 miles away.

People need to know that their BEST coach is not just a proximity coach.

These days we have the power of the Internet to help us to find a coach globally from the comfort of our own home.

Secondly, I was being asked repeatedly to coach kids and/or couples. While I have kids and a spouse, I’m not the best fit for those genres. Couples coaching and coaching for kids simply is not my area of expertise. Just like if someone asked me to be their health coach or nutrition coach, I’m not certified for that either. So in these examples, I suggested they find coaches online.

Guess what happened?

They never hired a coach.

When I asked why, the overwhelming responses were: there were too many choices, it was too salesy or too overwhelming.

So they did nothing.

OUCH!

What can we do? We needed to narrow down the coach options and make it easy for people to choose qualified coaching professionals on one online coaching platform.

Lastly as I said, I am a coach and now many years into it. I have a full practice and work mostly from referrals. BUT, it wasn't always this way. I spent years looking for a way to become an online coach by marketing myself. That in itself was like a full time job!

I tried joining a coaching directory of 2,000+ coaches but that didn’t work. I was on webpage 199 of 200.

So what if...

What if, there was a super easy, non-overwhelming, concise way, for clients to find a coach? An online coach that was within their budget and an expert in their specific needs. Someone who they could connect to in their preferred language. Their best coach would already be screened as a certified coach.

All they have to do is click?
